Professional-grade PDF remediation, right in your browser. Sign in, drop a PDF, and AI fixes your accessibility issues in under a minute. Nothing to install.
If you can drag a file and click a button, you already know how to use this.
Drag any PDF into the app. Word exports, scanned documents, engineering specs — it handles them all.
Claude reads the document, writes alt text, tags the structure, and sets reading order — in under a minute.
Review the accessibility report and download your compliant PDF. Your original file is never altered.
Each fix maps directly to a WCAG 2.1 AA requirement.
Screen readers announce "untitled" without one — we set a clear, meaningful title.
Prevents mispronunciation by telling screen readers what language the document is in.
Makes documents navigable instead of a wall of text. Adds list and table structure too.
Claude writes alt text for every image so blind users can access visual content.
Lets everyone jump to sections in long documents — built automatically from headings.
Turns pictures of text into actual, searchable text — even from print-to-PDF documents.
No software, no Python, no setup files. Three steps and you're remediating.

The remediator uses Anthropic's Claude to read documents and write image descriptions. Create an API key at console.anthropic.com and paste the key (starts with sk-ant-...) into your account once. It's encrypted and saved.
Your Anthropic account must keep a credit balance. Add a payment method and some credit at console.anthropic.com/settings/billing — the key won't verify without it, and remediation stops if the balance runs out.
This is separate from a Claude chat subscription. It's pay-as-you-go — most PDFs cost a nickel.
Drag a PDF onto the page. In under a minute you get back a tagged, WCAG 2.1 AA remediated file plus a full accessibility report. Download it — and your original is never touched.
Drag, drop, download. Every time after setup.
No. The remediator runs entirely in your web browser. There's nothing to download, no Python to install, no setup files — just sign in and go. It works on Windows, Mac, and Chromebooks alike.
Your PDF is uploaded over an encrypted connection and processed on our server. The original file is deleted as soon as processing finishes; the remediated copy is kept for 24 hours so you can download it, then automatically deleted. Document text and images are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate descriptions and analyze structure. We never sell your data and never use your documents to train any AI model. As with any cloud service, don't upload documents you're not permitted to share with a third party.
Yes — a Claude chat subscription and the developer API are billed separately. You'll create a key and add a payment method at console.anthropic.com. It's pay-as-you-go, and most PDFs cost about a nickel.
Everything from Word and PowerPoint exports to scanned documents and "print to PDF" pages. Syllabi, handouts, job aids, engineering specs — if Adobe's accessibility checker flags it, this tool can fix it.
It automatically fixes most common issues: alt text, tags and structure, headings, reading order, document language, bookmarks, and OCR for scanned pages. Some issues it detects and reports but cannot fix on its own, because they need a human decision or a change to the source document. Color contrast, vague link text, and unclear heading wording are typical examples, and very complex tables or forms may need a manual pass. No automated tool can fully remediate every PDF. That is why every job comes with a report showing exactly what was fixed and what still needs attention. Treat the result as a strong head start, review the report, and confirm the document before you publish.
The service itself is free during the beta. You bring your own Claude API key, so you pay Anthropic directly for usage — typically a nickel to thirty cents per PDF, depending on length and number of images. There is no separate charge from us.
Your original file is never modified — the tool always produces a separate fixed copy. The most common snag is an expired or mistyped API key. Check yours at console.anthropic.com/settings/keys and re-paste it in your account settings.
Create a free account, add your Claude key, and remediate your first PDF in the next few minutes.
